It is probably the most legendary ski area in the world: Nestling between the Kitzbüheler Horn and the Hahnenkamm is the ski area of Kitzbühel. (800 to 2000 metres altitude) The ski area extends across seven districts and two federal states - Tyrol and Salzburg.
