Cross-country skiing in the Wildkogel Arena

Above all else, a cross-country holiday in Neukirchen or Bramberg is all about getting to know the lovely natural surroundings between the Kitzbühel Alps and Hohe Tauern National Park, taking in the views to the impressive Großvenediger, the ‘highest Salzburger’.

Those of you enjoy gliding through the snowy white landscape on their cross-country skis during a winter holiday and want to explore our idyllic region in a sporty way, will really enjoy around 30 km of very well-tended and tracked cross-country trails in the Wildkogel Arena.

Access to the trail is directly behind our hotel.

TIP: The ‘Wennserloipe’ trail in Bramberg and the ‘Loipe Einöd’ trail in Neukirchen are floodlit in the evening.

The ’Pinzgau Trail’is also regarded as a highlight, and enables you to explore Salzachtal heading towards Krimml ( Krimml Waterfalls) and to Zell am See. To get back you can either take the ski bus or opt for public transport.
Trails are navigable as follows: Krimml - Hollersbach and Stuhlfelden - Zell am See
