The history of the Grundlhof
The family-run Hotel Grundlhof is located at the entrance to the wonderful Habachtal
1913
It was in this year that Josef and Anna Baitz purchased the little Grundl farmstead.
1957
Their son Johann and Margarethe set up the Baitz Guesthouse in 1957 next to the farmhouse.
1977
20 years later Gasthof Grundlhof was built as an extension.
1985
It was in this year that Bruno, son of Johann and Margarethe, took over the Grundlhof together with his wife Sylvia, turning it into a family hotel.
2011
The family-managed Hotel Grundlhof, as you know it today, was extended further in 2011 by Bruno and Sylvia, along with their son Hans-Peter.
