Wildkogel Arena in SalzburgerLand gets all the family moving. The extensive altitude hiking area, which includes the Panorama and Slide hiking paths is very accessible in summer and autumn (between May and October) via the Wildkogel cable cars.
From the mountain station to the intermediate station for the Wildkogelbahn, the Panorama path offers breath-taking outlooks to the highest mountains in the Hohe Tauern National Park. It’s worth taking a pause for a moment at the rest points and energy-filled places nestling in the Austrian Alps on this hike which takes around 1 hour.
At the intermediate station for the Wildkogelbahn a big highlight awaits during the holidays: Hiking with children of all ages in the Salzburg mountains really is fun on the Slide hiking path. At Gasthof Stockenbaum you come across ten stainless steel slides which range from 22 to 53 metres in length. Head right into fun sliding on slide mats. Disappear in tubes, dive into troughs and whiz over the ripple sections. The free-fall effect slides prompt quite a few squeals of surprise.
Make the most of this spectacular and great value offer in the Wildkogel Arena!
