A whole 800 km of mountain bike tours with views to the impressive glaciers between the Großglockner and the Großvenediger provide fun on two wheels in the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region.

along with numerous mountain-bike routes that you can head out and discover for yourself, there are also some guided tours, during which you get to discover the idyllic natural surroundings around Neukirchen and Bramberg by mountain-bike along with a guide. Tours range from leisurely family routes along the Tauern Cycle Path to routes that are optimally suited to E-Bikes, through to challenging tours that require a bit of fitness.

In Krimml, the place where you get to marvel at the highest waterfalls in Europe, the Tauern Cycle Path starts (approx. 310 km in length), proceeding via Neukirchen and Bramberg to Zell am See, continuing on to Salzburg and finally finishing in Passau.

The lovely route heads along the Salzach and Saalach rivers, with signposts provided throughout, guaranteeing fantastic cycling fun on the Tauern Cycle Path – for all the family too. Due to the gradient, the majority of the ride on the Tauern Cycle Path in the direction stated is mostly downhill, with only a few sporadic sections of climbing.
